Peggy Houng is an international prize-winning harpist currently based in Hong Kong. She placed fourth in the International Harp Competition in Soka, Japan and more recently won second prize in the ENKOR International Music Competition in 2016. Highlights in her musical career include touring China, Japan, and Taiwan with the Asian Youth Orchestra and performing with the Orquesta Nuevo Proyecto Sinfónico in Puerto Rico and contemporary music ensemble the Great Noise Ensemble in Washington, D.C. In addition to being a classically trained harpist, Peggy has also earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Cognitive Science and is currently pursuing studies in music therapy.
